What's valuable

What buyers want from trades and field-service companies

Records of real work and how it turned out. The more years and the better kept, the more they're worth.

  • Job tickets, call to close

The full record of each job: the call, the diagnosis, the parts, the fix, the callback.

  • Estimates, invoices and change orders

How a job was priced, what changed on site and what the customer finally paid.

  • Dispatch and scheduling

Who went where and why: priorities, routes, no-shows and emergency calls.

  • Technician notes

What your techs saw and did, in their own words. Years of them show how the trade really works.

  • SOPs, safety and QA checklists

How your company does the work right, written down.

  • Call handling and booking rules

What your CSRs ask, what they book and when they escalate.

What labs learn from it

What a lab learns from your tickets

A no-heat call comes in at 4:45 on a Friday. Someone decides which tech goes, what goes on the truck, and what to quote when the heat exchanger turns out to be cracked. An AI can't learn that from the internet. It learns it from years of real calls, the job that followed, and what it cost.

Offers posted publicly by one data broker, not closed deals. We never promise a number. Value depends on how much data you have, how many years it covers and how well it's kept. Your valuation tells you where you stand.

See where you stand

How it works

Three steps. You approve every one.

You don't need to prepare anything for the valuation, and nothing leaves your company until you've seen it and signed off.

  1. Get a free valuation

Answer a few questions about your company. Within one business day we email you what buyers want from businesses like yours and what drives the price. No data needed yet.

  2. We find the buyer and do the work

We match you with buyers who want your kind of data, then handle anonymization, PII removal and the paperwork. You approve every file and every term before anything leaves.

  3. You get paid

Your company is paid under the license you sign. The buyer pays our fee, so it costs you nothing.

Privacy

What stays with you

You decide what's in scope. These never leave, and nothing goes anywhere without your written sign-off.

What never leaves

  • Homeowner and customer names, addresses and phone numbers
  • Payment and card details
  • Call recordings, unless every party's consent is on file
  • HR, payroll and personnel files

How we anonymize

  1. Personal data is removed or replaced with placeholders.
  2. The cleaned files are reviewed, by us and then by you.
  3. Nothing leaves until you sign off in writing.

FAQ

Questions owners ask first

Anything else? Email [email protected] and a person will answer.

We run everything through ServiceTitan (or Jobber, or Housecall Pro). Is that enough?

Often that's the core of it: years of jobs, estimates, invoices and dispatch history in one system. You agree which systems and date ranges are in scope, and customer names, addresses and phone numbers are stripped before anything leaves.

How do you keep our data private?

Nothing leaves until it has been through three steps. Personal data (names, emails, phone numbers, addresses, account numbers) is removed or replaced with placeholders. The cleaned files are reviewed, by us and then by you. And you sign off in writing. Customer personal data, privileged or regulated records, and HR and payroll files are left out entirely.

How long does it take, and when do we get paid?

Your valuation arrives within one business day. If you go ahead, scoping and signing usually take a few weeks. Buyers pay once the data is delivered and accepted, typically 60 to 90 days after acceptance, and some pay sooner.

Do our employees need to know?

It depends on the data. Employee names and contact details are removed like everyone else's, and HR, payroll and personnel files never leave. Some material, such as call recordings or staff messages in certain states, can carry notice or consent rules; we flag it before anything is shared. Many owners choose to tell their team, and your counsel has the final word.

What does it cost us?

Nothing. The buyer pays us a fee when a deal closes. There's no upfront cost, and if no deal happens, nobody pays anything.

What if we say no?

Then nothing happens. The valuation is free and commits you to nothing. You can stop at any point before you sign, and nothing is ever shared without your written approval.

Who are you?

Data Dividend is a service of Augment Inc., based in Plano, Texas. We're independent, not tied to any one AI lab or data buyer, so our job is to find the buyer that fits your data rather than to fill one buyer's quota.
